HELP US WELCOME MILO, OUR NEW COMPANION FOR HARBISON RESIDENTS

Harbison has been searching for a loving companion to be introduced to our residents. Many of our residents have been asking and devoting their time to finding the perfect match, thanks to Sally Andreas, for potentially finding us the newest addition to the Harbison family. Ms Andreas grew up with a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and she was ecstatic when she came across a dog breeder looking to retire one of her champions.

Meet Milo, he’s a two-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, full of love, life, and energy something the Harbison family will cherish. Milo’s gentle heart, calming nature, and adaptable temperament make him the perfect newest addition to Harbison. Coming from a show life and a well-trained background Milo is perfect for residents to share a one-on-one bonding time with along with plenty of cuddle time this will benefit residents in a positive way.

As many of our residents have grown up with pets in their family environment, Milo will make them feel comfortable and more at home. As you know pets provide a lot of love and affection and it has been shown that having a pet in your life can boost your overall health by reducing stress, easing loneliness, and encouraging exercise and playfulness.

 Having a companion like Milo introduced to Harbison provides emotional support for individuals, especially those who may not have frequent visitors or those who have trouble making connections with others

.As our Pet Therapy program was a huge success for residents to create those one-on-one connections a couple of hours a week, we want to take the next step and have a full-time companion on-site to keep them company 24/7.
